1. Log in to your account.
2. Once logged in, go to the Tools tab.
3. Under the Integrations section, you'll see BoothMotion. Click the 'Connect' button next to it.

4. A prompt will appear to confirm the connection - click 'Grant Access'.

5. Once authorised, a confirmation message will appear.

After successfully linking your accounts, BoothMotion assets can be accessed directly from Curator when setting up event details. Here’s how:

1. In the 'Attract Screen' tab, you have the option to include a Capture Attract Screen.

2. Once you click 'Choose', you'll see the stunning library of Animated Overlays and Start Screens you can choose from. And you're good to go!

Create Character Reveals in Snappic with BoothMotion

With BoothMotion, creating professional design assets for Snappic's coveted Character Reveal feature couldn't be easier.

Firstly, choose a design from our library.

Then choose whether you would like a portrait, landscape or square format for your event.

We are going to choose a square format, and the gold theme, for the purposes of this demonstration.

BoothMotion allows you to customise every line of text you see in the design, with unlimited free previews so you can always make changes before purchasing.

There are two additional text fields which are perfect for personalising your design to your client or business, maybe with an instagram handle or website for promotional benefits.

Hit the next button and you will see an event note option. This is entirely optional and is just to help you identify your orders in your BoothMotion account. It does not affect the design in any way.

Check the details you have entered and click the Generate Free Preview button to proceed.

If you are happy with your preview, you can add it to your cart and checkout. Your order will be ready in as little as 5 minutes.

Once your order is complete, the process of loading the artwork into Snappic is very easy.

Please download both the foreground and background files from your BoothMotion order page.

Log in to your Snappic account, and activate a new Enterprise event, ensuring that the VideoFX feature is enabled.

Scroll down to the video templates section and click edit.

Click on "select from template library" and then the "AI Segmentation" tab. We are going to select the standard Character Reveal template.

Choose the orientation that matches your BoothMotion purchase and give your sequence a name.

Head over to the Timeline tab and click on the Freeze Frame element.

Now we are going to edit the pre-configured video effect.

Click on the edit button and then select layer 2.

Drag and drop your BoothMotion file named BG on to the overlay box.

Once that has uploaded, head over to layer 4 and repeat the process with the FG file.

Hit the save button, then preview timeline and 'normal recording' to see a preview of how your character reveal will look!

Hit Close, then save, then save again to secure your work!

1. When your order is complete, the process of installing your artwork in TouchPix is very easy.
2. Download the HEVC MP4 file from your BoothMotion order page.
3. Login to your TouchPix account and create your event in the 'new UI' event builder.
4. Go to Create New Event and then click Create Custom Event.
5. Give your event a name and click 'Create Event'
6. Click the overlays button and then the designer button. This will load the TouchPix overlay designer which is where we will set the video size for our event.
7. Select Template 1 for portrait, template 3 for square or template 5 for landscape. These are the TouchPix sizes supported by BoothMotion.
8. Once you have set your template size, select your event from the drop down list and then click 'add to event'.
9. Click Return To Touchpix and again on the popup box.
10. Hit the settings cog for manage this event and then the pencil edit button.
11. Click Video Effects on the menu.
12. Ensure that Slomo is selected and then click add effect.
13. Scroll down and select remove bg + video (full length). Click confirm.
14. Click on the effect name in the stack and then click on the 'none' area to select your file.
15. Load in the transparent MP4 file that you previously downloaded from BoothMotion.
16. Click save changes.
17. Activate your event in the TouchPix app on your device to test.

1. When your order is complete, the process of installing your artwork in Snappic is very easy.
2. Download both of the files under the Snappic heading - the main MP4, and the clipping mask MP4.
3. Login to your Snappic account and activate a new enterprise event, ensuring that the VFX feature is enabled.
4. Scroll down to the templates section and hit the edit button next to video templates
5. Let's set up a new basic template for your 3 60 event.
6. Click on Create New Template.
7. Choose the orientation that matches your BoothMotion purchase; square, landscape or portrait.
8. Let's head over to the recordings tab and set the recording duration to 15 seconds.
9. Next we need to go to the 'timeline' section and add a new element.
10. Select App Recorded Video and click on Advanced Settings to reveal the playback speed options. Bring the speed multiplier slider down to half speed.
11. Now we will set up the background segmentation effect.
12. Click on Build a Custom Effect and then the Add Effect button.
13. Select the AI Segmentation effect and then the build a custom effect button.
14. Click Add Effect and then select the Overlay option.
15. Drag the normal mp4 file on to the Overlay box and the clipping mask mp4 on to the Clipping Mask box.
16. Hit save, and then hit save again.
17. Press the Preview Timeline button and then the 3 60 recording option to preview your video FX sequence.

1. First, choose whether you would like to use one or two logos, and the best ratio to fit. You can choose from square or rectangular ratio containers. Simply choose the shape that matches your logos best.
2. Next, choose whether you would like a portrait, square or landscape format for your video.
3. You can choose between a full or a partial logo coverage as well as the carousel spin direction.
4. Imagine you are looking down on your 360 platform from above. If your arm spins clockwise, we recommend choosing one of the right to left options. If your arm spins counterclockwise, you will likely prefer the left to right logo spin direction.
5. There are two text fields which are perfect for personalising your design to your client or business, maybe with an instagram handle or website for promotional benefits. This is entirely optional.
6. Hit the next button and we are ready to upload our logo or logos.
7. For the purposes of this demo, we are going to be uploading two square logos to this design.
8. Hit the Logo 1 Upload 'choose file' button to browse your device. We recommend using a high quality transparent PNG file here, but a non transparent JPG will also work.
9. Once you have selected a file, use the corner handles to resize your logo to fit the transparent grid. Hit the contain button at any time to re-centre the logo. We recommend using all of the space if possible.
10. Hit the finish button and then repeat the process for logo 2.
11. Once your logos have been uploaded, you will see an event note option. This is entirely optional and is just to help you identify your orders in your BoothMotion account. It does not affect the design in any way.
12. Click the Generate Free Preview button and we will create your design within just a couple of minutes.
13. If you are happy with your preview, you can add it to your cart and checkout. Your purchase will be ready to download within 1 hour.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of your order page to see your completed animation and click the “DOWNLOAD MP4” button to save your start screen animated to your computer;

4. Go to Snappic and log in to your account;

5. Find your upcoming event to which you would like to upload your BoothMotion start screen asset/s;

6. Scroll down to the “App Experience” section and click “edit”;

7. Under the “Photo Booth” tab, click the “Upload Animated Attract Screen” button;

8. Find your BoothMotion start screen asset/s on your computer. This will likely be in your “downloads” folder. Click “ok” to load it in;

9. We recommend using the ‘hide title banner’ option to prevent any text at the top of your start screen from being obstructed; then

10. Hit the “save changes” button, and you are done!

How to upload your BoothMotion start screen animations to Snappic via iPhone or iPad:

1. After your purchased start screen has been completed, please go to your orders page at BoothMotion Orders;

2. Click on “VIEW ORDER” next to your relevant order;

3. Scroll down to the bottom of your order page to see your completed animation and click the “DOWNLOAD MP4” button to save your start screen animated to your iPhone or iPad;

4. If prompted with “Do you want to download 12345.mp4?” click download. This will save your BoothMotion start screen to the downloads folder of the Files app on your device;

5. Go to Snappic and log in to your account;

6. Find your upcoming event to which you would like to upload your BoothMotion start screen;

7. Scroll down to the “App Experience” section and click “edit”;

8. Under the “Photo Booth” tab, click the “Upload Animated Attract Screen” button;

9. When prompted, select “Choose File” from the pop up list;

10. If your file isn’t visible in the folder which opens, click “Browse” to find your “Downloads” folder;

11. Select your BoothMotion download and it will upload to your Snappic event;

12. We recommend using the ‘hide title banner’ option to prevent any text at the top of your start screen from being obstructed; then

13. Hit the “save changes” button, and you are done!

How to upload your BoothMotion Animated Video Overlays (AVOs) to Snappic via computer:

1. After your purchased Animated Video Overlay has been completed, please go to your orders page at BoothMotion Orders;

2. Click on “VIEW ORDER” next to your relevant order;

3. We will need to download two files for Snappic. Scroll down to the bottom of your order page to see your completed animation and click the “DOWNLOAD MAIN MP4” and “DOWNLOAD ALPHA MASK MP4” buttons to save the relevant files to your computer;

4. Go to Snappic and log in to your account;

5. Find your upcoming event to which you would like to upload your BoothMotion Animated Video Overlay;

6. Ensure that Video FX is enabled under Event Details. If not, click ‘edit’ and enabled Video FX. This will take you straight to the Video FX Builder;

7. For the purposes of this “how to” guide, select the “Create New Template” option. You are also welcome to choose from any of the Snappic templates available in the library;

8. Give your template a name for easy identification purposes;

9. Select the orientation and resolution for your Video Output based on your BoothMotion Animated Video Overlay purchase;

10. Upload the MAIN MP4 file which you downloaded from BoothMotion to the “Overlay” box and the ALPHA MASK MP4 file to the “Overlay Mask” section; then

11. Be sure to hit the save button and now your BoothMotion Animated Video Overlay will now show over any recordings, special effects etc which you add in the Video FX editor.
